We are excited to start ROCKIN BIMINI with painted rocks from students and residents of Bimini on the Upper Road beach near Shelly and Shakey’s Conch Stand.
Collections are at various locations: Big Mike’s (Shelly and Shakey’s), Ebie and Pat’s, Island House, Coco Plum, Brian’s Coconut Shack, The Conch Shack, CC’s.
INVITING ALL VISITORS TO TAKE PART, BRING A ROCK FROM HOME OR JUST ASK FOR A ROCK AND PENS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND LEAVE A MESSAGE OR ARTWORK THAT WILL TOUCH SOMEONE.
Visitors can make a difference too!
When visiting our island, make note that as nice as our beaches are, there is a lot of history on the island to see. Our foundation is working hard to bring back many buildings of history and areas to enjoy such as the Bimini Museum, Bayfront Park ballfields and tennis courts as well as community projects at the local schools and medical center.
Our Volunteers have helped hundreds of kids this year from new computers, to a library in the elementary school they can use! The new turf in the schools has allowed many activities for the children to learn play games on solid ground.
Our focus is to improve areas that are most utilized in Bimini and with your help can make this happen.
